Operation143 formally Operation Backpack began in September 2010.  Operation143 offers a program called SWFP, Student Weekend Food Program, which provides food to students in our
local community who would go without over the weekend.  Operation143 serves alongside individuals and organizations to collect food and materials. Volunteers pack these items into backpacks Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. The backpacks are then sent out to qualifying students at each school.
The students discreetly pick up the backpacks each Friday and return them on Monday.
