Learning to read is a normal part of growing up, but some children take to it a little quicker than others. In actuality, approximately 20 million children in public schools are either completely or functionally illiterate. Which is why The Fleischmann Law Firm is proud to highlight the American Youth Literacy Foundation or AYLF.
With their home base located in Collegeville, the tutoring initiative turned nationwide foundation was started by R. Kali Woodward who began this journey when she noticed that her own son was struggling to learn how to read. In early 2021, AYLF launched FUNetix. FUNetix is an interactive reading app which teaches any child how to read in just 12 hours of total play time, working to resolve the children’s literacy crisis that has developed in the United States. The best part is the app is totally free to use and completely kid friendly.
